Somehow Windows installed Windows Boot Manager after I altered my "boot from devices" order in my bios.
The two options displayed in Boot Manager are:
-Windows Setup
-Windows 8
-when I choose Windows Setup, I get a screen filled with three error messages:

Solved Apps from the Windows Store will not OPEN!!!

This is my first post on the windows 8 forums, and I was looking for help with this issue. I downloaded the Microsoft solitaire collection from the windows store, and it will not open. Dual boot: W7 restarts instead of direct booting
Hi
When W8´s menue apears on start and I choose W7 - instead of loading W7directly , the computer is new-starting again and only than starts w7. Thats a funny "behaviour"....Does anybody have an idee how i can solve it?
Also, after starting the computer, the menue is not directly shown up, first is this turnning wi8 circle (like in the setup) and only about 30 sec. later comes the menue.

Recently I've bought a notebook with pre-installed Windows 8 basic monolingual edition.
Now I realise that I do need some Windows 8 Pro features like Hyper-V and EFS for my system administration trainings. :D

Help! - Deleted driver partition
So, I got my new Acer yesterday with Swedish Win8 OEM installed. Not accustomed to Win8 yet I decided to install Win7 instead and booted my Win7 USB (changed to Legacy from UEFI in order to do so). However, little did I know that things have gotten much more complicated! Apperently you can't install Win7 over Win8 with a lot of hassle.

Solved Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media
My PC is a custom build with a 1TB HDD.
Today, I removed a hard drive from my PC, containing Windows 7 which wasn't being used at all. The HDD in my PC currently has Windows 8 installed. It booted from Windows 8, so I'm guessing it was the primary boot device.

Windows 8 Setup Error
Hi, I am trying to run (as Administrator) the Windows 8 Setup program to download & then transfer the ISO to a USB but keep getting this error after entering the product key.
"*We can't connect right now
Check your internet connection and try again.*"

Upgrade to Pro 64 Bit from 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Fails
Title says it. Sorry if there has already been a thread, I've tried everything, and it seems nothing works. Makes it to 72 percent on "Keep files, settings and apps", "Keep files" and "Nothing". Can some suggest any other methods that might work? By the way, I'm using a USB to install the upgrade.

Dual boot problem
I have setup my computer with four separate hard drives. two of the drives are installed permanently inside my machine and are use as a data drives. For booting I use two separate disks in a drawer, one with windows 8 and other with windows 7. Booting my machine with win 8 doesn't create any problems, win 8 boots and behave normally. The problem starts when I swap boot disk from win 8 to win 7....

how to interchange the partitions of Win 7 & 8???
hey last week i dual booted win 7 n 8. now i am running out of space in the drive which contains win8.:(
win7 is installed on C drive and win8 on D drive.
Now can anybody please tell me can i interchange the OS on the drive.

Tried reset and reinstall, setup restart never end
I tried to run "Reset and reinstall windows" when I found out that "keep nothing" is not a clean install.
However, the reinstallation part (Windows setup, with the serial number part) starts over and over again
I have no idea which part I'd missed nor mistaken as I followed all the tutorials I found on the internet.

Unable to boot to disc

Dual Boot Win7 & 8 problems - Windows 8 won't start

I have a ASUS P5Q Pro with the Intel raid chipset. I had Windows 7 on a RAID1 mirror (2 drives), Windows on a C partition and my files on another partition.
