I have Win 8 Pro. Somehow that insidious offer to upgrade to 8.1 was activated by accident. I *_do not _*want 8.1. 8.1 has downloaded and is waiting for me to restart my computer to finish the install. I have kept my computer running for 2 days i.e. not shut it down in hopes that I can find a way to halt 8.1 from installing. I desperately do not want 8.1 and I'm getting a bit wild-eyed trying...
