Can't install Windows 8 in UEFI mode

Hello, I am using Windows 8 since release now but just figured out it was never installed in UEFI mode. So I wanted to reinstall it. The first problem I had was I couldnt boot from my DVD I burned the iso file on the Windows 8 setup too created for me, there is no UEFI boot option available. Then I created a copy of all files on a 8gb SD card, used bootsect /nt60 x:, again, no UEFI boot...
