I've seen similar threads, but couldn't work out if the 100% applied to my situation, so just wanted to ask to be clear.
I bought my current PC with Windows 7 (I'm assuming an OEM version) 4 years ago. I then purchased the Windows 8 update (special offer price) when it was released.
I'm about to buy a new PC with no OS, and plan to decommission the old one.
