I had Win8 and Win7 in a dual boot config on my main desktop PC and I was having many issues with Win8. I couldn't print to any printer (USB or LAN connected), couldn't connect reliably to my server, couldn't see the libraries on my server reliably, random freezes and reboots. I installed an SSD in place of the 2TB hard drive and reinstalled Win8 as the only OS and none of those issues occur now....
