Cannot access any recovered files

Hello, I upgraded to Windows 8 yesterday from the Consumer Preview, and while the upgrade seems to have gone along fine, I can no longer access any of my files that were recovered from the windows.old file. Whenever I do, I get a message saying I don't have the right permissions, etc. I am the sole user on my computer and the security settings in the properties for every file / folder I'm...
