I am currently running 7 Pro x64 on a HDD. I have run the Upgrade Assistant and created the ISO file. I am upgrading my system to a SSD to fulfill the usual roles, while keeping my HDD for files, etc.
What I don't know is if I need 7 to be installed on this SSD in order to use the upgrade to get 8 on the SSD. I am planning to reformat the HDD after 8 is completely installed, so I know I...
