I have a bad problem with Windows 8.1 UEFI :confused:. When I install Windows on my SSD, it will freeze on
welcome screen
and I have to Push reset button. SSD formatted with GPT Partition And HDD with MBR.
What should I do with this?

Upgrade Win 8.1 from 500gb HD to 128gb SSD asstd questions
Hi all - have done some searching but am getting different answers to some of my questions so figured I would start a new thread.

Can't restore system image, 8.1 pro, 0x80004005
So my issue is that I can't restore a system image I made. I was running 8.1 update 1 and created an image before trying to upgrade my Ubuntu to Fedora on the other side of the SSD.
I ended up screwing it all up in royal fashion somehow. Anyway, I deleted all of it, started fresh and installed via my DVD in UEFI mode (4 partitions so I know that's right.)

looking to perform a Clean install and need OEM iso
I had a HDD failure just 3 days past my warranty. I got my replacement drive and want to perform a clean install of Windows 8. I have my OEM product key and I need to find an iso for Windows 8. Windows 8.1 single language pack upgrade
Hi.
I have a PC with Windows 8.1 single language pack(OEM DVD) and I need to get a new language pack.
But since the OS being single language pack, I am not able to download another language pack,
and so I thought I would get a 8.1 Pro or a normal NOT single language pack and do an upgrade.

Resetting PC from a USB recovery stick
I reset my laptop to factory settings by using a USB stick which I prepared before.
But some days ago before recovery I used that USB for storing some of my files and I didn't delete them. I mean I had copied some personal folders into the recovery USB stick before and didn't delete them and did a PC reset with that USB.

How to FULLY reset Windows 8?
My Windows 8 laptop has been giving me hell lately, is there any way to reset it even more than using the "Remove everything and reinstall Windows" method? I have tried it was too much but my PC is never the same as it was when I first got it.
So, once again, is there any way to FULLY factory reset my laptop? To even the LAPTOP's factory defaults?

Issues with Syspreping & using KACE Windows 8.1 Enterprise
Ok, here are my issues. When I sysprep the image finalizes without any issues. We use KACE to deploy our image and here is where the problems start:
1. When images finalizes is gets stuck on getting ready (the majority of the times) OR
2. Screens stays black and we need to do a hard reset for it to continue

Help regarding installation of Rapid Start Technology
Hi,
I am trying to install Intel rapid start driver on my new Sager laptop. According to manual, I had successfully set partition ID. But after restart and when trying to check that created partition, its labelled as just "healthy partition" instead of "healthy hibernation partition". So, can some one help me with, why its not showing as "healthy hibernation partition".

Solved Dell 3020 Reload 8.1 After MB Replacement and HD Swap
We just replaced the office computers with Dell 3020s except for mine which was going to be a 9020. After loading and network connection one of the 3020s sparked up and quit.
To keep the office going I swapped the 3020 HD with my uninstalled 9020 which went well. I contacted Dell and they sent a guy to replace the MB on the dead 3020 which now has the Win 7 (with Win 8 upgrade) HD.

Purposely Interrupting Windows 8 Reset
I have a Toshiba Satellite Radius laptop. I wanted to reset it to default factory settings so its back to how I bought it.
After turning on the laptop, I pressed the 0 key, and it took me to Windows 8 recovery screen. I clicked on reset, and I said to erase all files.

How to boot from second int. HDD
I have win 8 on my c drive and have cloned it to a new d drive. (used AOMEI backupper) I can see it in disk manager but when i try to boot to it the computer boots to the the c drive. In the boot menu in the bios i have the int. hdd in the first position but it does not distinguish between the original(WD) and the new (Seagate) drives. What moe do I need to do get it to boot from the second hdd?

Is it possible to setup a hard disk to another computer?
I have a hard disk which already have windows installed, and now I want to setup this hard disk to my new computer, and of course I dont want to reinstall my OS.
I know that if I boot from this hard disk ,windows may not correctly boot because of drivers mismatch.so I just want to know is there anyway to deal with it without reinstall windows?
