Hello
I noticed on both my desktop and laptop that product keys for Win 8.1 Pro with media center are different from the original Win 8 ones before I upgraded through the store.
Does this mean that I can use this new key to install Win 8.1 pro with media center and the DVD I created from the 8.1 Pro iso file?

*keep windows settings personal files and applications
*keep personal files only
*nothing
I want to delete my current windows version(windows 7) and install windows 8.1 over that(in C drive). But I don't want to delete anything from other partitions (D and E), those contain important data.
I think third option nothing is correct for me....

I have a Win 8 disc I bought last summer to update my pc from Win 7 to Win 8 pro. Since then I have also updated it to the Media Center version and today updated to 8.1. Solved 30 second boot delay with new 250GB Samsung SSD
I replaced a Kingston 128GB SSD with a Samsung EVO 250GB SSD. Cloned Kingston SSD to new Samsung SSD using Acronis True Image.
Now, when I boot, it sits there for 30 seconds flashing the hard drive light blinking then proceeds to boot normally. All BIOS settings are default.
Hardware details in Specs.
Booting from the 128GB SSD was fine, no obvious delays.
